Keith Herring – Owner, Strident Consulting

As President of the NBACA and owner of Strident Consulting, Keith has a long history in the construction industry.  Keith is a certified management consultant and has consulted in the industry for many years.  He is a project management professional and is currently working with various levels of government.  Keith is passionate about providing advocacy for our members to better the construction community as a whole. 

Jeremy Macklin – Owner, Blue Wood Well Drilling Inc. & General Manager, Blue Wood Excavating

As General Manager of Blue Wood Excavating & Blue Wood Well Drilling Inc., Jeremy knows the value of hard work and taking pride in being the best in your field.  Cobourg born and raised, Jeremy is impassioned about supporting local and sustainable resources.  Jeremy firmly believes the construction industry is the economic engine of our community and is committed to doing his part to keep it local.

Shawn Davis – Owner, Grant Roofing and Construction Inc.

As owner of Grant Roofing and Construction Inc., and Construction technology teacher at our local high school, Shawn is passionate about developing the future generation of our industry through the Skilled Trades Internship in Construction Systems program.  Furthermore, Shawn is a strong advocate for community involvement, relationship building and skill development, all imperative factors in establishing a successful association. 

Anthony Dew – General Manager, Stalwood Homes

As General Manager for Stalwood Homes, Anthony is a vital resource to our board. He is on the front-line every day, and we are able to draw on his extensive education and years of experience in the new home sector. Anthony is also a strong proponent for green initiatives within the industry, we are eager to introduce these resources to our community.

Brad O’Neill – Owner, Your Home Hardware (Cobourg & Port Hope) Owner, Home Building Centre -Brighton & Brighton Truss 

As owner of Your Home Hardware, Brad has been recognized at the national level for his exceptional customer service and keen entrepreneurial drive.  Brad has successfully executed various networking initiatives that will be instrumental in helping the association thrive.  Brad is passionate about keeping community dollars, and community work within Northumberland, supporting the small businesses that fuel our region.

Matt James – Owner, Dalren Limited

Matt is president of Dalren Limited, a general contractor specializing in institutional, commercial and industrial construction projects. Matt has been responsible for delivering successful projects of all sizes from small renovations to multi million dollar new builds across all of south eastern and central Ontario. In his 30 years of industry experience, he has learned the value of collaboration, integrity and hard work. He understands that in construction we only have our reputation and our reputation is only as good as our last project. He is excited to be part of the NBACA board of directors and contribute to the growth of this great organization. He looks forward to contributing to the improvement and advocacy for the trades in Northumberland County through the association.  

Troy Barron – Owner, Zoelle Plumbing 

Troy Barron has been in the plumbing industry for 20+ years and founded ZoElle plumbing in 2015. As a certified red seal plumber, Troy has built his reputation on high-quality work that is delivered on time and on budget. Troy recognizes that small businesses are the heart of the regional economy and local trades have an opportunity to be directly and responsibly involved in the growth of our communities. Troy is passionate about growing and advancing the local supply chain so it can effectively support existing and future developments, while keeping jobs and economic spinoff opportunities here in Northumberland County.
